Description

We are seeking a qualified HSE Engineer/Officer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in health, safety, and environmental management, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures tailored to the organization's needs.
Provide training and support to employees on HSE practices and emergency procedures.
Investigate incidents and accidents, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics and suggest improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
Stay updated on current HSE legislation and best practices to ensure compliance.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
5-10 years of relevant experience in HSE roles, preferably in the manufacturing or construction industry.
Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and regulatory requirements in India.
Proficient in conducting risk assessments and safety audits.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with all levels of the organization.
Ability to analyze data and prepare reports for management review.
Certification in HSE-related fields (NEBOSH, IOSH, etc.) is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HSE management software.
