Job Description

As an HR Business Partner at Traya, you will play a pivotal role in managing the entire employee lifecycle for our field-based teams across various business units. Your responsibilities will range from hiring and onboarding to employee engagement, performance management, and exits. This individual contributor role is highly impactful, with the potential to lead a team as the business expands. Your primary responsibilities will involve partnering with business leaders to support Trayas on-ground and operational teams, executing core HR processes such as hiring, onboarding, performance cycles, engagement, retention, and offboarding. You will advise managers on team structure, capability gaps, and organizational effectiveness. In terms of recruitment and onboarding, you will be responsible for end-to-end hiring for customer-facing and field roles, managing sourcing pipelines, vendor partners, and hiring SLAs. Your innovative sourcing strategies will focus on scale hiring while maintaining quality, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new employees. As the first point of contact for field employees, you will address and resolve issues, building trust and enhancing the overall employee experience. Conducting regular field visits, one-on-ones, and skip-level connects will be crucial in improving employee satisfaction and reducing attrition. You will also oversee HR operations, maintaining HR dashboards for headcount, hiring, attrition, and compliance. By leveraging data insights, you will proactively identify areas of improvement, recommend interventions, ensure policy compliance, and address grievances in a timely manner. Maintaining a strong on-ground presence is essential, requiring regular travel to field locations to conduct audits, employee check-ins, and ensure alignment with company policies and culture. Your role will focus on driving consistency and transparency in HR practices across different geographies. To excel in this role, you should have at least 4 years of post-MBA experience in a generalist or HRBP role, preferably in retail, healthcare, QSR, or distributed workforce setups. A strong ownership mindset, ability to operate independently, excellent communication skills, high empathy, and stakeholder management abilities are key qualities we are looking for. You should be action-oriented, comfortable with frequent travel, and possess a solid understanding of core HR systems, people analytics, and compliance frameworks.,
