Position: HR Business Partner (HRBP) – Field Operations
Location: Ahmedabad (with travel across assigned stores/hubs in Gujarat)
Department: Human Resources – Operations HR
Reporting To: Regional HR Head / Zonal HRBP
Joining: Immediate to 15 Days
Experience: 2–4 years (preferably in blue-collar/field HR roles)

About the Role :-

This is a field HR role, not a typical desk job. As an HR Business Partner (HRBP), you’ll be the first point of contact for employees at our stores and hubs across Gujarat. Most of your time will be spent on the ground — meeting employees, resolving issues, monitoring attendance/attrition, and ensuring compliance.

You will manage a majority blue-collar workforce (delivery staff, pickers, packers, sorters) along with store-level managers and supervisors. Your focus will be on employee engagement, discipline, grievance redressal, and retention.

Key Responsibilities :-

Field HR Partnering

  • Act as the HR face for assigned stores/hubs.
  • Conduct regular field visits across Ahmedabad & Gujarat to engage with staff and store leadership.
  • Build strong relationships and provide on-ground HR support.

Workforce Management

  • Track attendance, absenteeism, and attrition.
  • Conduct employee engagement activities to improve morale and retention.
  • Guide employees on HR policies, leave, salary, PF, and ESI.

Grievance Handling & Discipline

  • Address employee queries, grievances, and conflicts.
  • Support store/hub managers in disciplinary actions and behavior management.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to Regional HR when necessary.

Onboarding & Documentation

  • Conduct joining formalities and collect necessary documentation at stores.
  • Ensure smooth induction and orientation on HR policies and code of conduct.
  • Coordinate with central HR for system access, IDs, and kit issuance.

Compliance & HR Records

  • Ensure adherence to labor laws and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain updated HR records for audits (attendance, contracts, IDs, etc.).

HR Reporting & Feedback

  • Share weekly manpower and engagement reports.
  • Provide ground-level insights to HR leadership for process improvement.

What We Expect From You :-

  • Strong on-ground presence – this is not a remote or office-based job.
  • Willingness to travel across Gujarat for store visits.
  • Ability to connect with blue-collar employees with empathy and respect.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for handling employees as well as store leaders.
  • Comfort in working with limited facilities during field visits.

Qualifications :-

  • Graduate in any discipline (MBA/PG in HR preferred but not mandatory).
  • 2–4 years of experience in field HR / IR / blue-collar workforce management.
  • Languages: Hindi & Gujarati (mandatory), English (basic proficiency).

  • Prior HRBP/HR field experience in Retail, Q-Commerce, Logistics, or Manufacturing.
