Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Sourcing:

    • Identify and source candidates for teaching and non-teaching roles using various platforms such as job portals, social media, and educational networks.
    • Partner with educational institutions, job fairs, and recruitment agencies to create a pipeline of potential candidates.

Screening & Shortlisting:

    • Review resumes and applications to assess candidate qualifications.
    • Conduct initial screening interviews to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit for the institution.
    • Coordinate with hiring managers to short-list candidates for further interviews.

Interview Coordination:

    • Schedule and coordinate interviews with relevant stakeholders (faculty, department heads, etc.).
    • Provide candidates with necessary details about the interview process and expectations.
    • Conduct telephonic/video interviews for preliminary assessments.

Candidate Evaluation:

    • Evaluate candidates qualifications, experience, and skill sets against job requirements.
    • Ensure compliance with educational standards and regulations during the recruitment process.
    • Administer skills tests or conduct other evaluation methods as necessary for specific roles.

Offer Management:

    • Prepare and extend job offers to selected candidates.
    • Negotiate terms and coordinate with relevant departments for seamless onboarding.

Employee Onboarding:

    • Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires by providing relevant documentation and induction schedules.
    • Work with HR and other departments to facilitate new hire orientation and training.

Employer Branding:

    • Assist in building and promoting the institutions employer brand to attract top talent.
    • Participate in outreach programs, university visits, and career fairs to enhance the institution's reputation as an employer of choice.

Record Keeping & Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities, candidate profiles, and feedback.
    • Provide regular recruitment reports and updates to management.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.

Collaboration & Communication:

    • Work closely with department heads, faculty, and academic teams to understand staffing needs and role requirements.
    • Maintain effective communication with candidates, providing timely updates on their application status.
