Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1 .Data Management & Validation

  • Collect, validate, and update employee data in the system.
  • Ensure accuracy of inputs such as attendance, reimbursements, deductions, and benefits.
  • Maintain trackers and logs for transparency.

2. Payroll Support

  • Assist in collating payroll inputs (leaves, attendance, new joiners, exits etc.,).
  • Support in final settlement preparation under supervision.

3. Operational Support

  • Manage routine queries/tickets and escalate exceptions.
  • Prepare and circulate standard reports.
  • Perform reconciliations (data vs. system, current vs. previous month).

4. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure documents are collected, checked, and filed in line with company policy.
  • Track deadlines and flag pending compliance activities.
  • Preparedness of Resignation Acceptance letter & Service Letter

5. Quality & Process Improvement

  • Identify recurring issues and highlight to seniors for process streamlining.
  • Ensure adherence to SLA / TAT for assigned tasks.

6. Collaboration

  • Work closely with payroll/HR teams to ensure timely completion of activities.
  • Support audits by providing requested data and reports.

Abilities/skills required:

1. Skills Required

  • Good knowledge of MS Office Tools.
  • Good Knowledge Process mapping & Process documentation.
  • Good Knowledge of MIS and reporting to work on daily/weekly/monthly reports.
  • Experience of working on HRIS systems (PeopleSoft & Taleo).

2. Knowledge of process/functions within the Human Resource (HR) back office domain such as Documentation & Background Check, Workforce Administration & Offboarding.
Good client management skills- Flexible to work across shifts and time zones.

  • Ability to drive results and function independently as an Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Display solidarity with team members and partners.
  • Ability to grasp and understand the process quickly and support the team members.

3. The incumbent will support India- HR Services On

  • Manage the Human Resource (HR) Application tool with the employee database by making the necessary changes as applicable
  • Adhere to information security guidelines of Societe Generale Global Service Center (SG GSC)
  • Maintain utmost confidentiality of the information received Human Resource (HR) Reporting
  • Generating Management Information System (MIS) reports, analyse the report trends
  • Provide Policy and Procedural support to staff - both Verbal and Written communication
