Job Description

As an experienced HR Manager at our high-growth company, you will be responsible for providing support to employees in India throughout their employment life cycle. Your expertise in Indian employment law will be crucial in guiding managers at all levels on legal matters. You will play a key role in suggesting policy improvements and simplifying processes for our Indian locations. Your primary focus will be on designing customized programs for DCS employees in India to align with the DCS People agenda. Additionally, you will contribute to the implementation of the new HR system, Workday, ensuring it meets all local legal and policy requirements. As part of the dynamic and internationally based DCS People Team, you will collaborate on implementing global HR strategies in India, ensuring alignment with company objectives. You will be the primary point of contact for line managers, providing guidance on HR-related concerns and fostering a positive work environment in compliance with Indian employment law. Your responsibilities will include talent management, recruitment, compliance with local laws, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits administration, HR reporting, and deployment of HR systems. Your ability to communicate effectively, handle confidential information, and work with an international team will be essential in this role. To qualify for this position, you should have excellent communication skills, a Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, a minimum of 5 years of HR experience in India, and proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite. Key competencies required include business acumen, cultural awareness, effective engagement, problem-solving, coaching skills, and adaptability.
