Role Overview

The HR Head will lead the full spectrum of HR functions for the Global Capability Center (GCC), aligning people strategy with business goals. The role requires a strategic HR leader who can design and drive organizational effectiveness, build leadership capability, and manage complex people operations in a global matrix setup.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Leadership

  • Partner with global and regional leadership to define and execute the GCCs people strategy.
  • Drive organizational design, workforce planning, and capability development to support business scalability.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management on talent, culture, and organizational effectiveness.

Talent Management & Development

  • Lead leadership development, succession planning, and high-potential talent programs.
  • Implement robust performance management frameworks aligned with global systems.
  • Oversee learning & development initiatives focused on digital, functional, and leadership skills.

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Build and sustain a high-performance, inclusive, and employee-centric culture.
  • Design and execute engagement strategies tailored for the GCC workforce.
  • Champion DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) and wellbeing programs.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Partner with global C&B teams to manage competitive compensation structures and pay benchmarking.
  • Drive annual compensation reviews, incentive programs, and benefits optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements and internal governance standards.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee HR operations including payroll, HRIS, policies, and employee lifecycle management.
  • Ensure full compliance with local labor laws, data privacy, and corporate standards.
  • Lead HR audits and maintain process excellence using metrics and HR analytics.

Talent Acquisition

  • Drive strategic hiring for the GCC — focusing on niche tech, analytics, and functional roles.
  • Strengthen employer branding and campus engagement initiatives.
  • Partner with business leaders to forecast and fulfill workforce requirements.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with global HR COEs (Centers of Excellence) across Talent, Compensation, Learning, and Mobility.
  • Serve as the point of contact for global HR alignment, audits, and best practice sharing.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources / Business Administration or related field.
  • 15+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role within a

    Global Capability Center

    or

    multinational organization

  • Strong understanding of GCC operating models, talent markets, and shared services dynamics.
  • Proven track record in strategic HR partnering, change management, and leadership coaching.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Exposure to digital HR tools, HR analytics, and global HR systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors).
