Job Description

An HR Recruiter job description involves the full life cycle of talent acquisition, including collaborating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, managing applicant tracking systems (ATS), negotiating offers, and ensuring a positive candidate experience and an inclusive hiring process to align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Sourcing:Identify, attract, and source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals.
  • Candidate Screening:Review resumes and conduct initial phone or video interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for the role and company culture.
  • Interview Coordination:Schedule interviews between candidates and the hiring team, ensuring logistical details are handled efficiently.
  • Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with potential candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders in the recruitment process.
  • Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Management:Utilize and manage the ATS to track candidate progress, maintain records, and generate hiring reports.
  • Offer & Negotiation:Communicate job offers to selected candidates and manage the negotiation process to reach a mutually beneficial agreement.
  • Employer Branding:Contribute to employer branding initiatives to attract top talent and enhance the company's image as an employer of choice.
  • Compliance & Diversity:Ensure the hiring process is inclusive, bias-free, and compliant with relevant policies.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Interpersonal Skills:Strong interpersonal skills are needed to build rapport and manage relationships with diverse individuals.
  • Organizational Skills:The ability to manage multiple tasks, stay organized, and meet deadlines is critical in a fast-paced recruitment environment.
  • Technical Proficiency:Familiarity with HR software, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and general productivity tools is often required.
  • Adaptability:A willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving business environments is beneficial.
  • Analytical Skills:The ability to analyze recruitment metrics and develop effective strategies to meet hiring goals.
