Role Overview

The HR Resource Asst. Manager/Manager will lead and oversee all core human resource functions for a fast-growing IT software product organization. This role requires a strategic and hands-on HR professional who can manage the complete employee lifecycle, strengthen organizational culture, and align HR practices with business goals. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in IT talent management, HR operations, and employee engagement, with the agility to thrive in a product-driven, innovation-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for product engineering, R&D, and technology roles (developers, architects, QA, DevOps, product managers, etc.).
  • Collaborate with department heads to forecast resource needs and build talent pipelines.
  • Manage relationships with recruitment partners and drive employer branding initiatives.
  • Implement data-driven recruitment practices and optimize hiring metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire, etc.).

2. HR Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee HR operations including onboarding, HRIS, payroll coordination, and statutory compliance.
  • Maintain accurate employee data, contracts, and HR documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, data protection, and company policies.
  • Manage HR audits and standardize HR processes for scalability.

3. Performance Management & Talent Development

  • Drive the performance management process including goal-setting, mid-year reviews, and appraisals.
  • Partner with leadership to identify skill gaps and training needs.
  • Implement learning & development programs to enhance technical and behavioral capabilities.
  • Facilitate leadership development and succession planning.

4. Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture.
  • Design and execute employee engagement programs and recognition initiatives.
  • Conduct regular feedback and pulse surveys; analyze insights and drive action plans.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and employee advocate to resolve issues and maintain morale.

5. Strategic HR Partnering

  • Act as an HR business partner to department heads, providing strategic input on people strategy, organization design, and change management.
  • Partner with global or cross-functional teams to align HR programs with organizational goals.
  • Use HR analytics and dashboards to provide insights for decision-making.

6. Compensation & Benefits

  • Partner with management to maintain competitive salary structures.
  • Drive annual compensation cycles and ensure internal equity.
  • Manage incentive and retention programs in line with company objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • MBA / PGDM in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • 815 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in

    IT, software product, or technology-driven companies

    .
  • Strong exposure to both strategic HR and operational HR functions.
  • Proven experience managing technical recruitment and resource planning.
  • Sound knowledge of HR systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Zoho People, Workday) and HR analytics tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
