Job Description

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:

Handle end-to-end recruitment for various roles in the retail sector, including sales associates, store managers, merchandisers, and back-office staff.

Source candidates through job portals, social media, employee referrals, and other hiring channels.

Screen and shortlist candidates based on job requirements and company culture.

Coordinate and conduct interviews (telephonic, video, and face-to-face).

Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure timely hiring.

Maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.

Employer Branding & Candidate Experience:

Develop and implement employer branding strategies to attract top talent.

Ensure a seamless and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

Maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and consultants when needed.

HR Operations & Compliance:

Maintain and update recruitment trackers, candidate databases, and HR reports.

Ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies during the hiring process.

Handle onboarding formalities for new hires, including documentation and induction programs.

Retail Industry-Specific Responsibilities:

Understand the dynamic hiring needs of retail businesses, including seasonal and bulk hiring.

Identify and attract candidates with experience in customer service, sales, and store operations.

Stay updated on market trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor hiring strategies in retail.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

0-1 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in the retail industry.

Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques, including job portals, LinkedIn, and networking.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.

Experience in HR software and applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus.

Understanding of labor laws and compliance in the retail sector

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
