Job Title: Recruiter + HR Operations

Location: Gurugram

Department: People & Culture Australia Unit

Reports To: HR Business Partner AU Unit

About the Role

At CARS24, we’re on a mission to redefine the way people buy and sell cars — and we know that great

people are at the heart of it. We’re looking for a Recruiter + HR Operations Specialist who can balance

both the human and process sides of HR — managing end-to-end recruitment while ensuring seamless

onboarding, offboarding, and engagement experiences for our employees. If you’re someone who

enjoys building strong teams, crafting great employee experiences, and adding structure to fast-moving

environments, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for intern, associate, and mid-level roles across AU operations.

• Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.

• Conduct screening calls and coordinate interviews while ensuring a high-quality candidate experience.

• Maintain accurate candidate data, pipelines, and dashboards.

• Collaborate with the HRBP to close offers and ensure timely onboarding.

HR Operations

• Own the onboarding and offboarding processes — from documentation and system updates to

first-day readiness and exit formalities.

• Coordinate IT, payroll, and admin activities to ensure smooth transitions.

• Maintain HRIS accuracy and handle employee life cycle data updates.

• Support compliance documentation and background verification processes.

Employee Engagement

• Drive engagement initiatives and recognition programs for the AU unit.

• Plan and execute virtual and on-ground activities that enhance collaboration and culture.

• Collect and analyze engagement feedback to design improvement actions.

• Partner with internal teams for R&Rs, surveys, and wellness initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• 1–3 years of experience in HR, Recruitment, or HR Operations.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Hands-on experience with ATS/HRIS tools and Excel/Google Sheets.

• Proactive, organized, and empathetic approach to people operations.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global setup.
