Job Description

As an HR Data Distribution Lead at Morgan Stanley, you will be responsible for managing the HR data distribution platforms and strategies to ensure the accurate and secure delivery of data to internal and external stakeholders. **Role Overview:** In this role, you will define and maintain a clear HR data distribution strategy aligned with business objectives, drive the development and implementation of HR data management solutions, and oversee the implementation and maintenance of the HR Data Distribution platform. You will collaborate with various teams to identify and resolve data discrepancies, ensure timely and secure data delivery, and lead discussions to develop data distribution mechanisms to support business needs. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define and maintain a clear HR data distribution strategy aligned with business objectives - Drive development and implementation of HR data management solutions - Manage the implementation and maintenance of the HR Data Distribution platform - Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to identify and resolve data discrepancies - Manage the product backlog, create multi-year roadmaps, and prioritize change management items - Ensure timely and secure delivery of data to internal and external stakeholders - Lead discussions with HR IT to develop APIs, ETL processes, and other data distribution mechanisms - Liaison with Reporting & Analytics team and other business teams to identify data requirements - Oversee implementation of data integration solutions to enable seamless data flow - Lead and mentor a team of data management and distribution professionals - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data management and distribution strategies - Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on data-related opportunities and risks - Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in data management, distribution, and governance - Drive the adoption of advanced data tools and platforms - Identify opportunities to streamline data processes and improve operational efficiency **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field - 12+ years of experience working with HR systems in data management or data distribution roles - 5+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial capacity - Experience with data management tools/applications such as SQL, Snowflake, Databricks - Good understanding of API development and data distribution mechanisms - Advanced Microsoft Office skills - Knowledge of end-to-end project management lifecycle - Experience managing large transformation projects - Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities - Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage a high-performing team This job at Morgan Stanley offers the opportunity to work alongside the best and the brightest in a supportive and inclusive environment.
