Description
As an HR Data Distribution Lead at Morgan Stanley, you will play a crucial role in managing the HR data distribution platforms and strategies for consumers across HR and the Business. This Vice President level position within the HR Data team requires you to lead the project delivery of a strategic, multi-year initiative aimed at transforming the data distribution platforms. Your responsibilities will include defining and maintaining a clear HR data distribution strategy aligned with business objectives and organizational goals. You will drive the development and implementation of HR data management solutions, policies, and procedures to ensure data accuracy, integrity, consistency, and security. Collaborating with various teams, you will be responsible for managing the implementation and maintenance of the HR Data Distribution platform, ensuring timely and secure delivery of data to internal and external stakeholders. In addition, you will lead discussions with HR IT to develop APIs, ETL processes, and other data distribution mechanisms to support business needs. You will also oversee the implementation of data integration solutions to enable seamless data flow across platforms and systems, while liaising with Reporting & Analytics team and other business teams to identify data requirements and deliver actionable insights. As a leader, you will mentor a team of data management and distribution professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will align data management and distribution strategies with organizational goals and provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on data-related opportunities and risks. You will also drive the adoption of advanced data tools and platforms to enhance organizational capabilities and identify opportunities to streamline data processes and improve operational efficiency. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field, with at least 12 years of experience working with HR systems in data management or data distribution roles. Additionally, you should have leadership experience and a strong understanding of data management tools/applications, API development, and data distribution mechanisms. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and analytical skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage a high-performing team.
