Job Title:
HR - Payroll and Compliance

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Management

• Process accurate and timely payroll for all employees (monthly/bi-weekly, etc.)
• Maintain payroll records, salary revisions, and benefits deductions
• Coordinate with Finance for disbursement and reporting
• Ensure compliance with income tax, PF, ESI, gratuity, and other applicable laws

HR Generalist Duties

• Manage onboarding, documentation, and employee record-keeping
• Support employee lifecycle: hiring, probation, confirmation, exits
• Assist in performance review cycles and HR policy updates
• Serve as the point of contact for HR queries and grievance handling

Compliance

• Ensure HR and payroll practices comply with applicable labor laws
• File statutory returns (e.g., PF, ESI, PT, TDS, etc.) on time
• Maintain compliance records and assist during audits
• Track changes in employment law and update policies accordingly

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (MBA/PGDM preferred)
• 2–5 years of experience in payroll, HR operations, and compliance
• Familiarity with [India's Labor Laws / US Labor Law / etc.]

Skills:

• Strong understanding of payroll and statutory compliance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Proficient in MS Excel and HR tools

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
