Role & responsibilities HR Systems Reporting Specialist - looking for a Contract Talent Acquisition Reporting Specialist to join the Recruiting Operations and Enablement team to support Workday and SmartRecruitings reporting. We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled HR Systems Reporting Specialist with expertise in Workday Report Builder, SQL, and Smart Recruiter report building. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, the ability to manage and report on sensitive data with professionalism, strong communication skills to ensure reporting requirements are well understood and actioned, and a commitment to delivering accurate, actionable insights for HR and recruitment functions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining reports across Workday, Smart Recruiter, and SQL databases, supporting data-driven decision-making and ensuring data security and compliance. Your Impact: Support standardized reporting by running existing reports and modifying filters to capture data as identified by the requester using Workday or SmartRecruiters Optimize existing reports to improve performance and usability. Configure and manage calculated fields, custom report prompts, and filters. Build new reports to capture core recruiting data and can allow for a broader analysis Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements and set expectations for reporting criteria Design new Workday reports for Workday Recruit Support compliance reporting Track all reporting requests via ServiceNow Report on data in our GCP Warehouse that houses data from multiple HR tools Monitor data quality and integrity; identify and resolve discrepancies in datasets; propose solutions to address root causes impacting quality and reporting Troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues in collaboration with HRIS and IT teams. Manage and secure sensitive employee and organizational data, adhering to confidentiality policies and industry best practices. Preferred candidate profile Qualifications: 5+ years experience working with and reporting on HR and Talent Acquisition data Proficiency in SQL, including advanced querying, joins, indexing, and performance optimization. Extensive experience reporting out of Workday (Report builder, Creating calc fields) Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy. Self-starter and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and successfully translate requirements into action . Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential data with a high level of professionalism and integrity.
