Job Description

As an HPC Support Engineer at Netweb Technologies, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, configuring, and ensuring the reliable operation of computer systems, servers, and network devices. Your responsibilities will include: - Installing and upgrading computer components and software. - Managing servers and implementing automation processes. - Troubleshooting hardware and software errors. - Conducting diagnostics, documenting issues and resolutions. - Prioritizing problems and assessing their impact. - Providing desktop and helpdesk support to ensure timely resolution of issues. - Deploying, configuring, and managing HPC systems and applications. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: - Previous experience as an HPC Engineer (2-3 years). - Bachelor's degree in computer science or Information Systems. - Familiarity with Linux scripting languages. - Knowledge of Linux distributions like RedHat and CentOS. - Experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments. - Understanding of server hardware platforms. - Knowledge of networking concepts and performance monitoring. - Familiarity with tools like Terraform and PowerCLI. - Basic understanding of Kubernetes and Vsphere CSI. - Linux certifications (RHCT, RHCE, and LPIC) preferred. Preferred Background: - Experience with HPC nodes and job schedulers. - Knowledge of GPO Node and HPC concepts. - Expertise in Linux administration (RedHat and CentOS). - Familiarity with load balancing and disaster management.
