HPC (High Performance Computing) Engineer

We are hiring a HPC (High Performance Computing) Engineer who can work onsite from Chennai

Job Title: Technical Lead – HPC (High Performance Computing)

Location: KLA, Chennai, India

Experience: 6–10 Years

Education: BE/BTech/MCA/MSc (No Diploma/BCA/BSc)

Industry: Semi-Conductor

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support HPC clusters (CPU/GPU-based)
• Manage BOMs, vendors, and hardware release cycles
• Configure and optimize Linux-based HPC systems
• Ensure project delivery and support manufacturing with quality deliverables
• Develop scripts (Shell/Python) and automation tools

Required Skills

• Expertise in Linux (SuSE, RedHat, Rocky, Ubuntu)
• Strong hardware knowledge: servers, GPUs, storage, networking, BIOS/BMC
• Familiarity with PXE boot, Linux HA, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
• Experience with config management tools (Salt, Chef, Puppet)

Preferred Skills

• DevOps tools: Jenkins, Git, Docker/Singularity
• Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana
• Web server & proxy setup: Apache/Nginx, HA Proxy
