Housekeeping Supervisor (Male)

Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the cleanliness, sanitation, and maintenance of the school premises. The role involves supervising housekeeping staff, assigning tasks, inspecting work areas, and maintaining a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff.
• Prepare and assign duty schedules, ensuring adequate coverage of all school areas.
• Inspect classrooms, offices, washrooms, corridors, playgrounds, and other facilities to ensure proper cleanliness and maintenance.
• Ensure cleaning standards are maintained as per school policies and health & safety regulations.
• Train, guide, and monitor housekeeping staff to improve efficiency and performance.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning materials, tools, and equipment; place requisitions when necessary.
• Ensure proper usage and storage of cleaning agents and equipment.
• Monitor waste disposal, pest control, and hygiene measures.
• Report repair and maintenance requirements to the concerned department.
• Address complaints regarding cleanliness and take corrective action promptly.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Maintain records of staff attendance, performance, and cleaning schedules.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in housekeeping supervision, preferably in a school or institutional setup.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to handle a team effectively and resolve conflicts.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic record-keeping and reporting abilities.

Work Environment:

• School campus, including classrooms, administrative offices, washrooms, playgrounds, and other facilities.
• Requires flexibility in working hours as per school requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
