Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Overview:

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations. The role includes maintaining cleanliness standards, managing housekeeping staff, and ensuring a comfortable, hygienic, and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise housekeeping staff and ensure assigned duties are completed on time.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms, wards, common areas, and hospital facilities.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation across the hospital.
• Prepare duty rosters, assign daily work, and monitor staff performance.
• Train and guide housekeeping staff on procedures, safety standards, and proper equipment use.
• Manage cleaning materials, inventory, and ensure timely replenishment.
• Ensure proper waste disposal and compliance with hospital safety guidelines.
• Handle complaints related to cleanliness and take follow-up action.
• Coordinate with nursing and other departments for smooth housekeeping support.
• Maintain daily records, reports, and documentation as required.

Qualifications:

• High School / Diploma / Graduation (preferred).
• Prior experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
