Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day housekeeping operations (guest rooms, public areas, linen, laundry).
  • Lead, train, and supervise housekeeping staff, including room attendants and laundry staff.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards.
  • Prepare duty rosters and manage staff scheduling.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linen, guest amenities, and ensure timely procurement.
  • Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance teams for room readiness and repairs.
  • Handle guest complaints related to housekeeping and resolve them promptly.
  • Enforce hygiene, safety, and brand standards.
  • Track and control housekeeping costs and reduce waste.
  • Prepare housekeeping reports and participate in daily briefings.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or related field.
  • 35 years of housekeeping experience with 12 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
  • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with housekeeping management systems (e.g., Opera, IDS, etc.)
