Housekeeping Manager

As a Housekeeping Manager at Holiday Terrace Beachfront Hotel in Panama City Beach, FL, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel's guest rooms and public areas. You will lead a team of housekeepers, overseeing their work to ensure that all hotel standards are consistently met. Your role will involve effective staff management, prompt problem resolution, and the delivery of exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include overseeing all aspects of the housekeeping department, such as maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas. You will be in charge of managing the housekeeping staff, scheduling shifts, assigning tasks, and training new team members. Regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas will be necessary to ensure they meet the required standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for addressing guest complaints and housekeeping-related issues in a timely manner. To excel in this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent qualification and at least 3 years of experience in a housekeeping management position. Strong leadership and management skills are essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. You must be adept at problem-solving, possess knowledge of hotel housekeeping operations, and be able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
