Housekeeping Assistant

Guest Room Cleaning & Maintenance

· Clean and service guest rooms as per hotel SOP (occupied & checkout rooms).

· Replenish guest amenities and supplies daily.

· Change linen as per standard; ensure proper bed-making.

· Disinfect bathrooms, replace towels, and check functionality of fixtures.

· Report Lost & Found items immediately to the Supervisor.

· Clean corridors, passages, and staircases attached to rooms.

· Handle guest requests politely and escalate if required.

Public Area Cleaning (if assigned)

· Maintain cleanliness in lobby, reception, restaurants, washrooms, parking areas, and staff service zones.

· Sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize assigned public areas as per schedule.

· Follow waste disposal and segregation rules strictly.

· Check and clean public restrooms frequently.

· Operate lobby lighting as per sunrise/sunset schedule.

General Duties

· Attend daily briefing with Supervisor.

· Set up housekeeping trolley before starting duty.

· Clean and maintain equipment, trolleys, and supplies after use.

· Report damages, maintenance issues, or safety hazards immediately.

· Follow grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards.

· Maintain positive interaction with guests and colleagues.

Requirements

· Prior housekeeping experience preferred (hotel/guest house/hospitality).

· Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and supplies.

· Ability to follow instructions and SOPs.

· Physically fit to perform cleaning duties.

· Good communication and guest service skills.

· Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Workplace Conduct

· Maintain punctuality and attendance as per duty roster.

· Use professional language and behavior at all times.

· Smoking, alcohol, and use of mobile phones in guest areas strictly prohibited.

· Adhere to hotel safety, security, and emergency procedures.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
