Hosting Team Member - LIMS Application

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Hosting Team Member to support the deployment, hosting, and maintenance of our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) application. The role involves managing application environments, ensuring high availability, supporting validation activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and compliant hosting services in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

Application Hosting & Environment Support

• Install, configure, and maintain LIMS application environments (Database, Application, Report, and Client tiers).
• Perform environment refreshes, patching, and upgrades as per business/project needs.
• Ensure compliance with IT security standards, policies, and audit requirements.

Monitoring & Incident Management

• Monitor system performance, logs, and scheduled jobs to maintain high availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hosting issues in collaboration with Infrastructure, DBA, and Application teams.
• Manage incidents, problems, and changes in line with ITIL processes.
• User & Access Management
• Manage user provisioning, roles, and access rights in compliance with security policies.
• Configure and maintain LDAP and SFTP integrations for secure authentication and data transfers.

Backup, Recovery & Compliance

• Ensure regular system backups and disaster recovery readiness.
• Support IQ/OQ validation activities during deployments, patching, and upgrades.
• Maintain SOPs, validation documents, and compliance records for internal and external audits.

Collaboration & Documentation

• Work closely with DBA, Infrastructure, Security, and Validation teams to resolve hosting issues.
• Document configurations, processes, and environment details in knowledge repositories.
• Provide detailed shift handovers and on-call support for production-critical systems.

Requirements

• Proven experience in LIMS application hosting or similar enterprise application hosting.
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server administration and Oracle/SQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with SFTP, LDAP, and integrations.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts with on-call support availability.
