Job Responsibilities:

Guest services:
Greet and welcome guests warmly, answer phones, and manage reservations and waitlists.
Table management:
Seat guests according to a seating chart and pacing system to ensure an even workload for servers.
Communication:
Introduce guests to their server, and maintain constant communication with kitchen and service staff.
Front-of-house maintenance:
Keep the host stand and dining area clean and organized.
Problem-solving:
Professionally handle customer complaints or inquiries, escalating them to a manager when necessary.

Additional duties:

Information provider:
Inform guests about specials, menus, or any special events.
Support staff:
Assist waitstaff during busy periods, such as helping with drinks or clearing tables.

Required skills and qualifications:

Interpersonal and communication skills:
Ability to communicate clearly and warmly with guests and staff.
