Job Purpose
The Resident Nutritionist cum Hostel Warden will be responsible for managing hostel students holistically — nutrition, motivation, routine discipline, emotional support, documentation, and daily coordination — ensuring every resident follows the IWLD weight loss protocol with consistency, safety, and positivity.
This is not a typical hostel job.
This role is for someone who can act as a caretaker, guide, disciplinarian, motivator, and transformation anchor for students staying at the IWLD Goa Hostel.
Key Responsibilities
1. Student Care & Nutrition Support
Conduct daily one-on-one interactions with hostel students (15–30 minutes per student).
Monitor:
Supplements intake
One-meal / fasting compliance
Hydration & routine discipline
Motivate students emotionally during:
Fasting days
Low-energy or demotivated phases
Emotional eating or depression phases
Explain diet, fasting logic, and basic science in a simple, reassuring manner.
Identify health, emotional, or behavioral issues early and report to the senior team.
2. Routine & Discipline Management
Ensure strict adherence to:
Daily hostel schedule
Meal timings (one meal / fasting days)
Outing time (approx. 4:30/5:00 PM to 7:30 PM)
Maintain discipline with a balanced approach:
Soft-spoken but firm
Supportive yet rule-oriented
Handle situations where students need correction, counseling, or firm guidance.
3. Hostel Coordination & Daily Operations
Be present daily at the hostel (Goa-based role).
Coordinate with:
Kitchen staff (food preparation as per IWLD protocol)
Office team (if students need to visit IWLD office)
Accompany students when required for:
Office visits
Shoots, meetings, or special activities
4. Documentation & Records Management
Maintain all hostel-related documents, including:
Student admission records
ID proofs & agreements
Attendance & daily routine logs
Supplements & inventory records
Incident or special observation notes
Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of all records.
Update management regularly with structured reports.
5. Emotional Support & Counseling
Understand that many students are:
Overweight
Medically compromised
Emotionally sensitive or depressed
Act as a calm listener and emotional stabilizer.
Create a safe, positive environment where students feel understood and supported.
6. Content & Social Media Support
Comfortable with:
Appearing in Instagram reels or live sessions (if required)
Supporting students during shoots or live content
Maintain proper presentation during content activities.
Represent IWLD values professionally at all times.
7. Professional Conduct & Representation
Always be:
Well-groomed
Presentable
In official uniform
Maintain clear communication — no false promises, no misinformation.
Ensure only company-approved information reaches students.
Required Skills & Qualities
Mandatory
Female candidate only
Goa-based or willing to work daily at Goa hostel
Highly punctual
Extremely soft-spoken yet authoritative
Emotionally mature and patient
Able to enforce rules without aggression
Comfortable speaking in Hindi & basic English
Presentable, fit, and well-maintained personality
Preferred Background
Nutrition / Dietetics / Health / Psychology / Hostel Management (preferred, not compulsory)
Experience in:
Weight loss centers
Wellness retreats
Hostels / PGs
Counseling or care roles
