HoD - Computer Science Engineering

The Head of the Department (HoD) of Computer Science Engineering is a pivotal role requiring a Ph.D. in Computer Science/Information Technology or a related discipline, along with an M.Tech (CSE) and B.Tech (CSE) degrees. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 10 years of teaching/research/industry experience, with at least 5 years in an academic leadership position. Proven expertise in research, curriculum design, and institutional development is essential for this role. As the HoD, you will spearhead the Computer Science Engineering department, ensuring excellence in teaching, research, curriculum development, industry engagement, and student outcomes. Your responsibilities include providing academic and administrative leadership, shaping strategic direction, and fostering innovation within the field of computer science and engineering. Your key responsibilities will encompass various domains such as academic leadership, student mentorship, research and innovation, industry and alumni engagement, faculty development, as well as administrative and compliance duties. You will be expected to lead initiatives in teaching, learning, curriculum design, assessment, and accreditation standards compliance while monitoring student performance and implementing academic interventions. Additionally, you will guide students in academic and career planning, promote research culture among faculty and students, establish industry partnerships, engage with alumni, and mentor faculty members to build a strong academic team. Your role will also involve managing departmental budget, resources, lab development, ensuring compliance with institutional policies, and preparing documentation for accreditations and audits.
