Reporting to: Regional Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HNI Desk Head (AVP & above) to lead our High Net-Worth Individual (HNI) vertical in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be a playing captain, directly managing key HNI relationships while leading a team of 34 Relationship Managers/Advisors. A strong focus on broking revenue (minimum 6070% of total revenue) is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Acquisition & Management:

Acquire and manage relationships with HNI and Ultra-HNI clients

Ensure broking remains the primary revenue driver (Equity, Commodity, Currency)

Offer portfolio advisory with a focus on high ROI and client retention

Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, and manage a team of 34 HNI RMs/Advisors

Drive team performance through ongoing mentoring and performance tracking

Revenue Ownership:

Achieve business targets with at least 6070% mix from broking revenue

Cross-sell financial products: Mutual Funds, Insurance, PMS, Structured Products

Client Engagement & Advisory:

Analyze client portfolios and deliver strategic investment advice

Promote in-house research and advisory insights

Reporting & Compliance:

Submit timely MIS and performance reports

Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policy guidelines

Key Requirements:

Experience:

Total: 1012 years, with 57 years in HNI Wealth/Capital Markets

Team Management: 57 years (minimum team size 34)

Strong exposure to Equity, Commodity & Currency broking

Education:

Graduate required; Postgraduate/MBA in Finance preferred

Preferred Industry Background:

Stock Broking Firms (e.g., Motilal Oswal, ICICI Securities, Angel One)

Wealth Management (e.g., IIFL Wealth, 360 ONE)
