Hiring for Residential underwriting(LIVE)
Location -Pan india
US Night shift
Notice period : Immediate ,30 days
ctc upto - 30% hike on current
Minimum 2+yrs of exp required in underwriting
2yrs in live underwriting
Key Responsibilities
Review and underwrite U.S. residential mortgage loan files to ensure compliance with FNMA, FHLMC guidelines.
Familiarity with GNMA and other investor guidelines is a strong plus.
Conduct comprehensive analysis of borrowers credit, income, asset, and collateral (4Cs) to determine creditworthiness.
Perform income analysis from salaried, self-employed (business), rental, and other sources, including complex tax documents such as 1040s, Schedule E, K1s, 1120, 1120S, and transcripts.
Review credit reports to evaluate trade lines, delinquencies, public records, and reconcile discrepancies.
Validate collateral and property valuations and assess appraisal documentation.
Verify asset documentation including bank statements, retirement accounts, and other investments.
Make independent underwriting decisions (approve, deny, or counter) in accordance with investor and company policies.
Maintain compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Communicate findings and decisions clearly to internal stakeholders and/or clients.
Deliver quality outcomes while meeting turnaround time (TAT) and accuracy metrics.
