Job Description

Customer Service Engineer

Responsibilities:

Installation & Maintenance
Troubleshooting & Repair:
Handle breakdown calls, troubleshoot issues, and perform corrective repair services efficiently to minimize machine downtime.
Customer Satisfaction:
Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction through timely responses to service calls, clear communication, and effective repair activities.
Business Growth:
Assist in generating revenue and business growth within the assigned territory by facilitating the timely renewal of Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and Comprehensive Maintenance Contracts (CMC).
Documentation:
Maintain accurate documentation of all service and maintenance activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering is preferred.
Experience:
Prior experience as a customer service engineer, specifically with ophthalmic equipment, is highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in preventive maintenance, corrective repair, troubleshooting, and equipment installation. Experience with a variety of medical devices such as ventilators, X-ray machines, and patient monitors is also a plus.
Communication:
Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with customers.
Work Ethic:
Must be a dedicated, inquisitive, and resilient individual who is initiative-driven and works well in a team environment.
