ands-on experience (or strong academic exposure) in using AutoCAD and SolidWorks for modelling and drawing generation. Good understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals: tolerance, fits, material behaviour, manufacturing processes. Ability to interpret technical requirements and deliver accurate drawings for manufacturing. Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy. Create 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks according to specifications and manufacturing constraints. Develop assemblies, parts, and detailed drawings ready for production and fabrication. Perform design reviews, collaborate with manufacturing, quality and procurement teams to ensure design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA). Update and maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials), part libraries, and revision controls. Troubleshoot and modify existing designs (e.g., sheet-metal enclosures, mechanical structures) to improve performance, reduce cost or enhance manufacturability. Support prototyping, testing, and validation of designs; iterate design based on test feedback. Adhere to industry standards, material selection, tolerances and documentation practices.

Role & responsibilities Coordinate daily service activities and assign service engineers for site visits. Schedule service calls, installations, breakdown visits, AMC services, and follow-ups. Communicate with customers regarding service schedules, visit confirmations, and status updates. Prepare and share service visit plans, engineer travel details, and job sheets. Track service calls, pending issues, and service completion reports. Coordinate spare parts availability and dispatch with stores/logistics teams. Ensure service reports, job cards, and customer sign-offs are received and filed. Support billing team by sharing service completion details for invoicing. Maintain service records, customer databases, and service logs. Handle customer complaints and escalate critical issues to management.
