Responsibilities
Designing and planning mining operations, including developing and implementing mining methods and equipment.Overseeing the construction and maintenance of mine shafts, tunnels, and facilities.Managing mining operations, including supervising mine workers and contractors, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.Developing operating plans and budgets, and analyzing financial and production data to track progress and identify areas for improvement.Collaborating with other engineers and geologists to identify and evaluate mineral reserves, and to plan and execute exploration projects.
