  About the Role

  
  

  Cogniter Technologies is looking for a skilled and creative iOS Developer to join our mobile app development team. You will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality, performance-oriented native iOS applications using Objective-C, Swift, and Xcode. The role involves working on both consumer-facing and enterprise-grade applications used globally.

  Key Responsibilities

  
  

  • Design, develop, and maintain native iOS applications using Objective-C, Swift, and Xcode

  • Implement features such as GPS services, Core Animation, multithreading, and offline data storage

  • Create intuitive and responsive UIs using Interface Builder, Google MapKit, and custom UI components

  • Integrate RESTful APIs, local databases (e.g., SQLite), and third-party SDKs

  • Debug, profile, and optimize application performance and reliability

  • Ensure compatibility across various iOS versions and devices

  • Follow Apple’s development guidelines and submission requirements for the App Store

  Must-Have Skills

  
  

  • Strong proficiency in Objective-C, Swift, and C++

  • In-depth understanding of object-oriented programming principles

  • Experience with Xcode IDE, iOS SDK, and iOS UI development tools

  • Strong debugging, crash analysis, and performance optimization skills

  • Experience with multithreading, Google Maps SDK, and third-party integrations

  • Familiarity with REST/JSON/XML APIs and offline data storage

  • A portfolio of 5–6 published iOS applications on the App Store (links required)

  Bonus Points For

  
  

  • Experience developing enterprise-grade iOS applications

  • Knowledge of OpenGL, Core Animation (3D), or mobile game frameworks

  • Understanding of app security, performance optimization, or mobile gaming workflows

  • Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, and data parsing
