Use various engineering systems like AVON to ascertain upcoming changes and analyze impacts. Coordination with multiple stake holders including HQ for tracking Engineering changes with respect all running projects and upcoming vehicle models for local & export market.
Takes a decision on the classification of Engineering changes and their split into the groups homologation relevant”, “non-relevant”. Verify decisions with respective departments. Negotiate budgetary & timeline requirement with different stake holders.Representing E/T in change management forums. Work closely with homologation teams for analysis of engineering changes (MY Points, Program points) with respect to its impact on homologation compliance. Should able to apply WCC, find synergies with past reports and compliances. Finalize evaluations and share with stakeholders.Create timely homologation responses to respective counterpart with highlighting vehicle/parts requirements & financial evaluations and timelines for compliances. Work closely with colleagues to ensure ordering of parts/Vehicles/ BIWs/ engines etc as per change requirements.Creates Certificate of Conformity (CoC) for all relevant markets from time to time as per export homologation timelines.Follow all applicable golden rule tasks of E/T affecting homologation compliance. Monitoring of Software changes and analysis of its impact on Homologation. Coordination within E/T for homologation approval /confirmation from authority. Coordination with HQ colleagues for golden rule topics and support to HQ for Sys42 release.Control all processes in department. Ensure successful audits through proper governance and risk mitigation plans. Audit preparation within department and ensure all audits & GRC compliances are successfully met. Co-ordinate department KPI management.Prepares regular reporting to superiors. Adhere to departmental process and guidelines. Upkeep of all documentation related to domestic & exports engineering changes & actions taken.
