Summary:
As a Technology Platform Engineer, you will create production and non-production cloud environments using appropriate software tools tailored for specific projects or products. Your typical day will involve deploying automation pipelines and automating the creation and configuration of environments, ensuring that all processes are efficient and effective in supporting the development lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Managing infrastructure resources in aws/azure cloud via terraform.2. Implementing CICD pipelines via Harness tool to deploy applications on top of infrastructure.3. Monitoring infrastructure and applications performance and provide remediation for stable platform.4. Supporting application and feature teams into their day to day tasks and deployments into higher and lower environments.5. Design and implement automation to support faster release process.6. Implement cost optimization for various cloud resources.7. Well versed with agile ceremonies like JIRA, scrums, service now.
Skills Required:
1. Cloud Concepts ( aws/azure) including networking, well architect framework, cost optimization
2. Hands on knowledge on IaC tools like terraform, ansible, shell script , python.3. CICD Concepts using Jenkins, Harness, Azure DevOps, yaml pipelines, GitHub actions4. Observability knowledge using Dynatrace about configuring logging, alerting and dashboards.5. Containerization hands knowledge using Kubernetes, docker on AWS EKS and Azure AKS..
