B.Com or M.Com with 10+ years experience and handled a team size of 3 or above. Candidates from Trading Sector Import and Export Invoice Handling

Job Title: Assistant Accounts Manager

Location: Andheri West

Salary: 6 - 8 LPA

Working Days: 6 Days

Timing: 8.00 AM - 5.00 PM

Industry: Import & Export Company

Candidate from Retail/Export Service Industry Preferred.

  • Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor.

  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.

  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases.

  • Ability to deal with large quantum of data.

  • Worked on ERP.

  • Impressive Communication Skills.

  • 3-6 years in Position of Assistant Accounts Manager preferably from Retail/Export Service Industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Arrange and monitor daily accounting activities and ensure accurate posting of financial data in the accounting software.

  • Review and verify authenticity of all supporting documents attached to financial transactions.

  • Monitor treasury operations, track daily cash flow, and ensure sufficient funds are available for administrative and operational needs.

  • Follow up with customers for timely payment of service invoices and ensure smooth revenue collection.

  • Coordinate with internal teams for timely receipt and accounting of vendor/supplier invoices to ensure smooth month-end closing.

  • Take responsibility for accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely follow-ups and resolution of any discrepancies.

  • Prepare costing statements and customer ledger balances and circulate them within the defined timelines.

  • Complete month-end processes accurately and submit MIS reports as per the formats and deadlines provided by management.

  • Perform variance analysis for revenue and expenditure to support business insights and decision-making.

  • Conduct cash forecasting and support treasury management activities.

  • Take ownership of general ledger and sub-ledgers related to customers and vendors, ensuring accurate monthly and annual closure of books.

  • Coordinate with auditors and submit required financial documents for internal and external audits.
