AI Architect – Part-Time / Contract

Remote / Hybrid (Flexible)

🧠 What You’ll Do

You will take ownership of designing the core architecture of our hallucination-free RAG system. Your responsibilities include:

• Architect and optimize RAG pipelines for factual consistency and low hallucination rates
• Design chunking, embedding, and retrieval strategies (Hybrid Search, Vector DB, BM25, etc.)
• Implement grounding mechanisms, validation layers, and confidence scoring
• Develop evaluation frameworks (truthfulness metrics, retrieval precision/recall, A/B tests)
• Integrate LLMs with vector databases and enterprise knowledge sources
• Work closely with engineering teams to convert architecture to production-ready modules

🔍 Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of solid experience in

  AI/ML system design

  , preferably as an AI Architect
• Deep understanding of

  LLMs, RAG frameworks, embedding models, vector databases

• Strong knowledge of

  LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack

  , or custom pipeline development
• Experience mitigating hallucinations using tools like:
• grounding,
• answer verification,
• retrieval scoring,
• multi-step reasoning chains
• Proficiency with

  Python

  ,

  PyTorch

  , or

  TensorFlow

• Experience deploying models on cloud: AWS / GCP / Azure
• Prior work on

  enterprise-grade AI products

  is a strong plus

• Experience building evaluation datasets for factual QA
• Knowledge of fine-tuning (SFT, LoRA) to improve domain accuracy
• Understanding of data governance, privacy, and secure AI architectures
