Job Description

The Helper Chef assists in the preparation and cooking of food in a professional kitchen environment. This role supports the culinary team in maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness. Key Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including washing, chopping, and measuring. Support the cooking process by following recipes and instructions from the Head Chef or Sous Chef. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes and sanitizing work areas. Help in inventory management by restocking supplies and reporting shortages. Assist in plating and presenting dishes to ensure they meet quality standards. Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times. Qualifications:Previous experience in a kitchen environment is a must. Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Physical Requirements:Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
