Job Description: As a heavy truck driver, your role involves safely operating large vehicles, delivering goods, and ensuring the vehicle's upkeep. This includes loading and unloading cargo, following designated routes, complying with traffic regulations, and maintaining communication with dispatchers. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, recording deliveries, and promptly reporting any incidents or concerns. Key Responsibilities: - Safely operate heavy trucks to deliver goods - Load and unload cargo efficiently - Follow specified routes and adhere to traffic laws - Communicate effectively with dispatchers - Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections - Document deliveries accurately - Report any issues or accidents promptly Qualifications Required: - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) - Clean driving record - Ability to perform physical tasks like loading/unloading - Strong communication skills - Attention to detail and safety awareness Please note: This job offers benefits such as health insurance and follows a day shift schedule.
