Job Description

Role Overview

The Retail Health Underwriter is responsible for assessing and underwriting Retail Health Indemnity, Personal Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital Cash, Retail Travel, and Loan-linked products. The role carries an underwriting authority of up to INR 3 Crore and ensures high-quality, accurate, and timely decision-making in line with company guidelines and regulatory standards

Key Responsibilities

* Underwrite retail health and personal line products within defined authority limits.

* Ensure 99% accuracy in decisions with a focus on profitability and risk mitigation.

* Deliver underwriting outcomes within 2 working days TAT (targeting 1 day by next fiscal).

* Assist in developing and refining underwriting guidelines for new and existing products.
