Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Health and Safety Officer, based in Palghat. The role involves implementing, monitoring, and maintaining health and safety policies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Responsibilities include assessing workplace hazards, conducting risk assessments, delivering training on occupational safety, handling environmental health protocols, and promoting a culture of safety throughout the workplace. Regular audits and inspections will also be part of this role to uphold and improve safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Health & Safety and Workplace Safety protocols
• Strong understanding of Occupational Health and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) practices
• Certification in NEBOSH or equivalent safety qualifications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risks effectively
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Experience in workplace safety training and the implementation of safety programs is a plus
• Familiarity with local safety regulations and compliance standards is desirable
