Health and Safety Officer

As an HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Officer in a factory, your role is crucial in ensuring a safe working environment for all employees. You will be responsible for implementing safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with regulations to reduce accidents and injuries. Key Responsibilities: - Developing and Implementing Safety Plans to safeguard the factory environment. - Conducting Risk Assessments to identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures. - Performing Workplace Inspections to ensure safety standards are met. - Investigating Incidents to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences. - Providing Safety Training to employees on safe work practices, emergency procedures, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). - Monitoring and Evaluating safety performance, program effectiveness, and making necessary adjustments. - Ensuring Compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards. - Communicating and Collaborating safety information with employees, management, and external stakeholders. - Maintaining accurate Record Keeping of inspections, incidents, and training. - Developing and implementing Emergency Response procedures and coordinating with emergency services when necessary. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as an HSE Officer or similar role in a factory setting. - In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards. - Strong communication and leadership skills. - Certification in occupational health and safety would be a plus. - Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
