Provide expert guidance for trouble shooting, maintenance and overhauling of rotating equipment.
Managing Condition Monitoring activities at Site
Root cause analysis
Responsible for Performance monitoring & benchmarking
Alarm and Trip management related to Machinery Condition Monitoring
Oversee Turnaround / Shutdown services related to Rotating Equipment
Review of ESS, SMP, C/O Schedule, CM schedule, PM Schedule for continuous improvement in reliability
Conduct periodic audits to ensure standards are maintained and procedures are followed
Study and recommend modifications, uprating, de-rating related to Rotating equipment
Review and approval of Maintenance cost and budgeting related to Rotating Equipment
Manage coordination with CoE for recommendations on improvements in reliability
Coordinate with vendors and OEMs for critical reliability issues
Oversee & provide guidance in RCM study at the respective sites
Rotors and critical spares Preservation system implementation and compliance
Review and approval of SMPs, development of specific SMPs and best practices implementation
Review and approve erection and commissioning procedures
Corrective measures and recommendations for repair and reconditioning
Review and approve advanced repair technology and methodology
Review and approve recommendations of FMEA, IPF etc.
Review and Monitoring of availability of critical & insurance spares.
Validation and approval of vendor / other repair facilities
Provide Support to minor projects, CTS and Process dept.
Review obsolescence and implement renewal plan at site
Coordinate Training and skill development activities for subordinates and site Engineers
Develop in#house experts
Identify training needs of subordinates and recommend training programs for them.
Conduct timely appraisals and identify areas for subordinates to focus on.
Maintain Statutory and regulatory compliance wherever applicable
Take ownership for HSEF compliance.
Hands on experience in rotating equipment trouble shooting, maintenance and condition monitoring
Hands on experience in rotating equipment erection and commissioning
Engineering knowledge on equipment selection, manufacturing and testing is an added advantage
Knowledge of industry standards and codes (API, ASME, ISO etc.)
Knowledge of Reliability principles (RCM/FMEA, Statistical tools)
Leadership, team building and strong interpersonal skill
