Head - Projects

1. Project Leadership & Execution

• Lead all LPG/NG turnkey projects across industrial, commercial, and HoReCa segments.
• Oversee the complete project lifecycle: planning, engineering, procurement, installation, commissioning, testing, and handover.
• Ensure timely and cost-effective execution of all projects with minimal deviations.

2. Team Management & Development

• Lead and mentor a team of Project Engineers, Site Supervisors, Installers, and Administrators.
• Define roles, quality benchmarks, and performance metrics for the Projects team.
• Build capability through training on technical knowledge, safety, standards, and customer management.

3. Project Planning & Coordination

• Work closely with Sales, Design, Supply Chain, Production, and Service teams for seamless project delivery.
• Review project drawings, BOQs, layouts, and technical feasibility.
• Ensure readiness of materials, manpower, contractors, and documentation before deployment.

4. Safety, Quality & Compliance

• Drive a culture of safety across all project sites; ensure full compliance with PESO, IS standards, and internal SOPs.
• Ensure all installations meet Pune Gas quality benchmarks and regulatory requirements.
• Implement periodic quality audits and safety inspections.

5. Stakeholder & Customer Management

• Be the single point of escalation for customers during project execution.
• Conduct project review meetings, update customers on progress, and ensure aligned expectations.
• Ensure smooth handover to ServiceShield / O&M team after commissioning.

6. Budgeting, Cost Control & Reporting

• Own project budgets, monitor expenses, and drive cost efficiency without compromising quality.
• Track project progress using project management tools and ERP.
• Provide weekly and monthly reports to management on project status, performance metrics, risks, and forecasts.

7. Process Improvement & Systems

• Strengthen project management processes, SOPs, documentation, and checklists.
• Drive best practices in planning, risk management, and quality control.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce delays, rework, and installation errors.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong technical understanding of LPG/NG systems, gas pipelines, pressure regulation, safety devices, and relevant standards.
• Excellent leadership and people-management skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across different geographies.
• Strong planning, coordination, and execution abilities.
• Problem-solving mindset with focus on delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Proficiency in MS Project / ERP / Project Management tools.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering (preferred).
• 10–15 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in LPG/NG, industrial installations, fire safety, utilities, or similar industries preferred.
