""HEAD- PLANNING & PRODUCTION CONTROL (PPC)"

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Control

• Develop Monthly/Weekly/Daily production plans aligned with customer orders and marketing forecasts.
• Coordinate with melting, moulding, core shop, fettling, heat treatment, machining, QC/QA, pattern shop, and dispatch.
• Monitor WIP across stages and ensure seamless production flow.
• Prepare and follow To-Pour, To-Fettling, and To-Machining lists.

Post-Production Planning

• Create and track Fettling, Heat Treatment, RT, Pre-Machining, and Final Machining plans.
• Ensure correct sequencing of operations for timely dispatch.
• Manage subcontracting and evaluate performance (plan vs actual).

Dispatch & Customer Delivery

• Prepare weekly dispatch plans and track delivery commitments.
• Monitor OTD for rough and machined castings.
• Share delivery performance snapshots and open order reports with Sales.

Reporting, Analytics & Dashboards

• Build advanced Excel trackers for Plan vs Actual, inventory, machine shop requirements, and production tracking.
• Develop Power BI dashboards for OTD trends, WIP ageing, capacity utilisation, and foundry KPIs.
• Maintain and update ERP/SAP production modules and generate MIS reports.

KPI Management & Improvement

• Achieve key targets: Rough Casting OTD 95%, Overall OTD 90%, Machined Casting Lead Time 21 days.
• Conduct delay analysis, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements.
• Lead 5S activities within PPC.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.E/Diploma in Mechanical, Metallurgy, or Production Engineering.
• 20+ years of PPC experience in a foundry, including 5+ years in leadership roles.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
