Job Description

Head of Operations / Regional Operations Head

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple eye hospitals/centres across the region
Ensure smooth clinical and non-clinical operations including OPD, OT, diagnostics, pharmacy, and patient services
Drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, and productivity improvement
Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality benchmarks
Ensure compliance with NABH, clinical governance, and regulatory standards
Partner with medical leadership to enhance patient experience and clinical outcomes
Lead, mentor, and manage hospital administrators, operations managers, and support teams
Track and improve KPIs, TATs, revenue, and patient satisfaction scores
Coordinate with central teams (HR, Finance, Procurement, Marketing) for seamless operations
Support new centre launches, expansion, and process standardization.

Desired Candidate Profile

Mandatory experience in Eye Care / Ophthalmology / Eye Hospital chains
10 -25 years of experience in hospital operations, with at least 5+ years in a regional or leadership role
Strong understanding of eye hospital workflows and clinical operations
Proven experience managing multi-location hospitals/centres
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills
Exposure to NABH accreditation and quality frameworks preferred

Education

UG /MBA / MHA / PG in Hospital or Healthcare Management
Clinical background with strong operations exposure will be an added advantage
