Job Description

Overview:

4S Advisory's client, a leading restaurant chain in Hyderabad, is seeking an experienced Head of Operations to establish and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and manage multiple restaurant outlets across the city. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in restaurant operations management, focusing on process optimization, consistent quality, and superior guest satisfaction. This role involves leading restaurant managers, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining company standards across all locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Establishment of SOPs:

  • Develop and implement SOPs for all operational aspects, including food preparation, service standards, hygiene, and customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure SOP compliance and identify improvement opportunities.

Restaurant Management:

  • Oversee daily operations across all restaurant locations, covering staffing, inventory, and service management.
  • Track KPIs such as sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction; initiate corrective measures as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and hygiene regulations.

Team Supervision and Training:

  • Lead and mentor restaurant managers and staff to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to reinforce company goals, policies, and operational excellence.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Quality Assurance:

  • Maintain the brand's reputation for excellence in food quality, presentation, and guest experience.
  • Address customer feedback and complaints promptly and professionally.

Financial Management:

  • Work with the finance team to prepare and manage budgets for each restaurant location.
  • Monitor financial performance to achieve profitability goals and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Implement efficiency measures while maintaining product and service quality.

Communication and Coordination:

  • Act as the key liaison between corporate headquarters and restaurant managers.
  • Report operational performance, challenges, and improvement opportunities to senior management.
  • Facilitate coordination among restaurants to ensure best practice sharing and consistency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in restaurant operations management.
  • Proven expertise in developing and implementing SOPs and driving process improvements.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Sound understanding of restaurant financials and key business metrics.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
