The Role

WisGrad Education is hiring a results-driven Head of Training and Upskilling to lead the development, execution, and accreditation of industry-aligned training programs. The role involves organizing workshops and conducting courses for students and professionals, collaborating with international institutions for new course partnerships, and securing national recognitions through NSDC, NCVET, and UGC. Ideal candidates will have a strong corporate L&D background, experience with academic-industry alignment, and a passion for building future-ready talent.

Key Responsibilities

Upskilling & Curriculum Development

• Organize high-impact training workshops for students and professionals
• Liaise with global institutions to introduce market-relevant certification programs
• Align course content with job market demands and evolving tech trends

National & International Accreditation

• Drive course accreditations from bodies like NSDC, NABET, ISTD, NCVET, UGC, ABC
• Strategically position WisGrad courses under the National Credit Framework (NCrF)

Academic Strategy & Quality

• Lead curriculum planning and academic delivery across disciplines
• Ensure compliance with university partner standards and regulatory norms
• Oversee assessment frameworks, academic audits, and accreditation readiness

Faculty & Student Excellence

• Manage faculty recruitment, training, and performance
• Enhance teaching innovation, blended learning, and IT integration
• Improve student outcomes through academic advising and tech-enabled feedback

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with the marketing team to identify learner personas and drive course adoption
• Collaborate with Student Affairs for a seamless academic journey
• Maintain strong relationships with global university partners

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in any discipline (mandatory)
• 5+ years in corporate or professional training, L&D, or academic leadership
• Certified Training & Development professional
• Additional certifications from International institutions is an added advantage.
• Learning & Development Managers with a corporate training background get the highest preference.
