Head of Trade Processing & Account Transfers

Your role Are you an individual with a proven track record of high-quality operational execution and team management UBS is seeking a highly motivated and seasoned individual to lead our Capital Markets Trading Middle Office, Mutual Funds Operations, and Account Transfers teams. This candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations: trade processing and reconciliation, risk management, account transfers, and ensuring seamless coordination between the front and back offices. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and mentor a team of >25 individuals, fostering a culture of high-performance focused on excellence, accuracy, and efficiency. - Trade Validation & Confirmation: Oversee the trade confirmation process for Fixed Income, Equity, Structured Products, and Mutual Funds. Ensuring timely and accurate trade capture. Collaborate with the front office and counterparties to resolve discrepancies. - Manage the firms incoming and outgoing client account transfers process via the ACATs process. - Reconciliation: Manage daily suite of control and reconciliation processes, identify and resolve discrepancies promptly and provide reporting to senior management. - Risk Management & Monitoring: Proactively identify and manage operational risk ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. - Workflow Optimization: Drive process reengineering initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce operational risk, and support scalability. - Technology & Systems Implementation: Collaborate with IT teams (define requirements and quality assurance testing) on initiatives impacting middle office infrastructure and related processes. Your expertise - 7+ years of Operations, Risk and People Management experience. - Series 99 and SIE, or equivalent required, can be obtained after hiring.
