Position Overview: We’re looking for an experienced Head of Department – Smart Gadgets, Cameras & Dash Tech to lead our technical division for smart gadgets. This includes overseeing the design, testing, product development, and performance optimization of consumer products like digital cameras, dash cameras, gimbals, and smart accessories.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end development of smart gadgets – including imaging devices, dash cams, microphones, and stabilizers.

• Define and implement the product roadmap for smart gadget categories, aligning with market demand and innovation trends.

• Guide research on new features, materials, camera optics, sensors, image stabilization, battery efficiency, etc.

• Work closely with design, QA, production, procurement, and marketing teams to ensure timely, highquality product launches.

• Collaborate with the after-sales and repair team to identify recurring issues, improve product design, and enhance user satisfaction.

• Evaluate and partner with component suppliers and manufacturers globally, particularly for imaging chips, lenses, mounts, etc.

• Ensure all products pass necessary QA standards and compliance for Indian and international markets (BIS, CE, FCC, etc.).

• Build and mentor a strong technical team of engineers and product managers.

Key Requirements

• 8–12 years in consumer electronics / smart gadgets / imaging tech, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

• B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, or similar. Master’s preferred

• Proven track record of launching hardware products from concept to market.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹1,000,000.00 per year
