About the Role

We are assisting a professional services firm in identifying a dynamic and ambitious professional as a lead in its Tax Advisory practice. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced tax advisor ready to step into a leadership role, shape the growth of a practice, and join the firm’s core leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop business for the Tax Advisory practice, covering direct tax, indirect tax, international tax, and regulatory compliance.
• Advise clients on tax-efficient structuring, cross-border tax matters, transfer pricing, and GST.
• Oversee tax aspects of M&A and transaction structuring alongside the Transactions team.
• Provide strategic insights on complex client issues, delivering innovative and commercially sound solutions.
• Mentor and develop a team of tax managers and consultants.
• Cultivate and strengthen client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor to CXOs, founders, and promoters.
• Manage engagements to ensure timely, high-quality, and compliant deliverables.
• Contribute to business development, including proposal preparation, client pitches, and market positioning.

Candidate Profile

• 9

  plus years of post-qualification experience in tax advisory (direct/indirect/international) at a consulting firm.
• CA qualification (Must).
• Strong technical expertise in Indian and international tax regulations.
• Proven track record of managing client engagements and leading teams.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working in a high-growth environment.
• Excellent client-facing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ambition to lead and grow a practice with ownership and autonomy.
